Is the solar concentrator design 'open source'? I'm nearing retirement age & I'd love to at least reduce the size of the cord (it's unlikely I'll be able to just cut it...)
Maybe you can grow this into a tie-in to a how-to web site.
I'm glad you enjoyed the show. I believe Larry Winowski is looking to make the solar concentrator design open source. It's a great idea and really effective. The jury is still out on whether all that heat would age a regular photo voltaic panel but used a mechanism to heat up water to power a turbine is really effective.
